“He’s fighting for his life,” his son David told a news conference at Geisinger Medical Center. “He’s getting stronger spiritually, mentally and physically. Time will tell.”
Wright, 61, suffered a devastating assortment of injuries in the July 4 crash that killed his wife and grandson in Greene Township, Pa.
The family was waiting for Wright’s condition to improve before telling him about the death of his wife Betty, 58, their son said.
The Brooklyn pastor did know that his 14-year-old grandson was killed in the crash with a car driving the wrong way on Interstate 80.
